In the unlikley event that a delivered product goes faulty, we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund (including delivery charges). Faulty goods can be returned to us instore or we will arrange a collection, at our expense. We retain the right to inspect all faulty items prioir to agreeing to any full or part refund. Certain products, such as power tools or household electrical items, will require and inspection by the manufacturer as laid out in their repective manufacturer warranties. These goods will be sent to the appropriate manufacturer who will inspect the product and either repair or replace at there discretion, this process can take up to 28 days. Items deemed not faulty will not be exchanged, replaced or refunded and any additional delivery charges incurred may be passed on.
Damaged goods on delivery
In the event of a product being damaged during delivery you must notify us within 2 working days of receipt. The carriers documentation should be marked as "received damaged" or "unchecked". We will then arrange to replace the damaged item.
Goods recieved that are no longer required can be return to store for a full refund or exchange, providing they are unopened in their original prockaging and suitable for resale. We recomend goods are returned personally or posted recorded or signed for delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning goods to us unless the return is as a result of an error by Castle Hardware. Collections can be organised by us for a charge of £15.00.
